I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling understood, supported, and accepted. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where clients can explore their challenges, develop new skills, and work toward lasting growth. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, grief, life transitions, or feeling stuck, I strive to meet you where you are and walk alongside you throughout the counseling process.
I have been providing counseling services since 2008 after earning my Master’s degree in Counseling from Lincoln Christian University. Throughout my career, I have supported children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigating a variety of concerns, including anxiety, OCD, PTSD, depression, behavioral challenges, relationship difficulties, spiritual concerns, and major life transitions. My experience in crisis services has allowed me to work closely with individuals, families, and schools during some of their most challenging moments, shaping my compassionate and steady approach to therapy.
My counseling style is collaborative, practical, and client-centered. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and existential approaches to help clients better understand themselves, build resilience, and create meaningful change. I believe in supporting the whole person by considering the emotional, relational, and personal experiences that shape each individual’s story.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our three children, and our dog. I also enjoy swimming, watching sports, and being involved in marching band season with my family. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the challenges and joys that come with family life. Taking the first step toward counseling can be difficult, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I would be honored to support you as you work toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life.
